Anu Malik is one of the most adored artists in the Hindi film industry. He is known for his melodious voice and beautiful compositions. Songs like Kaho Na Kaho, Ye Kali Kali Ankhein, Sandese Aate Hai and other unforgettable creations earned him great appreciation and made him world famous. Recently, the singer found himself at the center of a controversy concerning due credit for the song Ghar Kab Aaoge from the upcoming movie Border 2. The track is a revamped version of the song, Sandese Aate Hain from the 1997 movie Border. The new track has been recreated by Mithoon and the makers did not credit Anu Malik for the original creation. After the singer expressed his disappointment, the makers offered him his credits and the singer issued a message clarifying his previous statement.

On Thursday, Anu Malik took to his Instagram to share the news regarding his due credits. He posted a story in which he wrote, "Putting recent misinformation to rest, singer-composer Anu Malik released the following statement on the song 'Ghar Kab Aaoge' from highly anticipated movie Border2."

He further added, "I would like to clarify about the song 'Ghar Kab Aaoge' that Bhushan ji has already credited me with immense warmth and respect. This is a unique collaboration that I am genuinely proud of, and I have also shared my thoughts publicly across my social media platforms. Any reports suggesting otherwise are based on incorrect reporting. I stand by this collaboration with pride and gratitude."

Anu Malik Clarifies Credit Controversy

Previously, Anu Malik shared his disappointment regarding the due credits. In an interview with PTI, he said, "I believe the song is recreated. I’m not a part of it. I’m sure they will give my name to it as I’ve created the song. They should because people know about our contribution, they can't get away. They can't make Border 2 without Sandese Aate Hai...So they will have to put our name somewhere."

About Border 2
