Arjun Rampal Opens Up About Gabriella Demetriades’s Equation With His Daughters, Says ‘They Get Along Really Well’

Arjun Rampal has been making headlines for his iconic role in the Aditya Dhar directed movie Dhurandhar as Major Iqbal. He also broke many hearts after he revealed that he is engaged to his long-time girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades. Recently, the couple appeared on a podcast together where they got candid about their relationship and discussed Gabriella's bond with Arjun’s daughters Mahikaa and Myra.

Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades recently appeared on Rhea Chakraborty's podcast for her YouTube channel, where Arjun called parenting "the hugest challenge in the world." He added, "From little things that just want to be clutched onto you and are always hanging around, you become their everything. Then they get their little wings and start to fly out of your nest and experience life, friendships, traumas, all of that happens. You suddenly become more of an observer. They know you’ll always have their back, but it’s not easy. It’s a completely different relationship."

Arjun further said, "You can’t say the pressure is on her or me. They are changing every day. They have conversations about boyfriends, friends, their own world, and you’re not really welcomed into that world.”

Talking about Gabriella's relationship with the girls, the actor shared, "Mahikaa, Myra and Gabriella get along really, really well — touchwood. They can talk to her like a friend. I want to be that friend too, but I’m too old-fashioned."

Gabriella also chimed in and said, "They have been amazing through all of it. We never told them they had to respect me. They don’t have to. They just need to have a relationship with me, and if they like me, that’s great. There was no pressure. We let them settle into a rhythm on their own. They are fun, lovely girls, and I think I am the Gen Z."

Arjun Rampal’s Personal Life

Arjun Rampal married his first wife, former Miss India, MehrJesia in 1998. The duo had two kids together. In 2002, they welcomed their first daughter Mahikaa and in 2005, their second daughter Myra was born. After decades of being together, they decided to part ways and filed for a divorce in 2018.
