Thanks to its compelling storyline, star-studded cast and surprise cameos by big names in Bollywood, the show has captured wide attention. Directed and co-written by Aryan Khan and backed by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, the series is generating buzz online. Amid this excitement, speculations about a possible season 2 has emerged online. This comes after Aryan’s close friend and actress Ananya Panday congratulated him on the success of the show and dropped a major hint, saying, “Ready for my role in season 2." This has sparked excitement among fans.

Taking to Instagram stories, Ananya dropped a childhood photo of Aryan Khan and her cousin Ahaan Panday to applaud their recent successes. Along with the post, she wrote, "These little boys have done such BIG things lately couldn’t be prouder."
Aryan re-shared her post and wrote, “Special thanks for everything."
In return, she drops a cheeky hint, Ananya posted, “Ready for my role in season 2 now." This generated anticipation for season 2, but they can't wait for the makers to officially announce it.

The seven-part series features Lakshya Lalwani as Aasmaan Singh, an ambitious outsider trying to make it big in Bollywood while navigating the glamorous yet challenging world of the Hindi film industry. The Ba***ds Of Bollywood offers a humorous yet dark take on Indian cinema. The show stars Lakshya Lalwani alongside Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Gautami Kapoor, Rajat Bedi and others. Beyond the main cast, the unexpected cameos caught the audience's attention. Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Emraan Hashmi, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh appear in special roles, adding surprise and charm to the show.

One standout moment came from Emraan Hashmi's role as an intimacy coach, paired with Raghav's comic timing, won the hearts of the internet. In a viral scene, Raghav's character Parvaiz, a fan of Hashmi, performs the hit song Kaho Na Kaho from the film Murder, singing both the Hindi and Arabic verses. Raghav actually cried during the scene, which received an overwhelming response from the audience. Tamannaah Bhatia's song Ghafoor added a glamorous edge to the show's narrative.
Since its release on September 18, the Netflix series quickly secured the No. 1 spot on the platform, captivating viewers across the country.
