Aryan Khan has made a smashing entry in the entertainment industry after his directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, gave him critical acclaim. Now, the newly turned filmmaker is aiming for another big project, which is bigger. Yes, Khan will be directing a superhero project. According to reports, Aryan Khan is all set to kick off a Bollywood superhero universe inspired by Raj Kapoor Comics. He will bring some of India’s most popular comic book characters to the silver screen. Some reports also suggest that Aryan is set to direct Super Commando Dhruva and then Doga. An official announcement is expected to happen in January 2026. The filming will begin shortly after.

Aryan Khan received a lot of appreciation for his series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, which focused on the dark side of the industry. Creating a fictional world, it showcased the struggle of outsiders. From the script, dialogues to hard-hitting punchlines, some scenes of the show were trending online, leading to the most talked-about series in recent times. The Ba***ds of Bollywood stars Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal, Mona Singh and Anya Singh in the pivotal roles. Ayan Khan’s directorial has been backed by his mother, Gauri Khan. The show is streaming on Netflix.

At Joy Forum 2025, Salman Khan appreciated Aryan Khan’s dedication to his craft and his show. The superstar said, “Aryan made a web show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. It has done really, really well. So now his upbringing is the same! He did not want to... I would rather have him in front of the camera, and super serious father... and like I said earlier, Aryan will be the only person he will be happy with if Aryan succeeds him.” To this, Shah Rukh Khan had a fun banter with Salman and added, “Or if Salman has a son! Then I would like him to be the biggest star ever in the history of mankind. So we are working on that. But like Salman said, all the youngsters now are very video-literate and it has helped Aryan a lot.”
