The Ba***ds Of Bollywood 2: Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series TThe Ba***ds Of Bollywood has been the talk of the town ever since it premiered on Netflix on September 18. With just seven episodes, the quirky satire quickly became one of the most-watched shows in India and still holds the #1 spot on the platform. From meta jokes and hilarious Bollywood cliches to star-studded cameos and a shocking finale twist, the show has left fans eager for more, sparking speculation about a second season.
Since then, fans have flooded social media, asking Netflix and Aryan to confirm Season 2. Amid all this buzz, actress Anya Singh, who played Aasmaan’s loyal manager Sanya, spoke about the rumours in an interview with Free Press Journal. When asked directly about a new season, she laughed and said, "Ask Aryan!" She explained further, "How can I confirm something when I don't know that it is confirmed? I genuinely believe that it deserves a second season, and I think that people have lapped it up. The show has been loved, from what I understand, is blown up. Everyone watched it, but everyone watched it and loved it and enjoyed it. So many of my friends have called and said I have laughed so much. It has been so nostalgic. So many people said that I have binged Emraan Hashmi's playlist."
Meanwhile, praising Aryan’s creativity, she added, "That's why I say Aryan is a very intelligent creator. So, I feel like this definitely deserves a season 2, and I want to go back to that set, so I really want it. But, it is not in my hands as much as you think I am the manager, I am not managing this." Interestingly, actor Rajat Bedi had hinted in a separate interview that work on Season 2 had already started. However, there has been no official confirmation yet from Netflix or Dharma Cornerstone Entertainment, which backed Aryan’s debut.
The first season of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood has proven that Aryan Khan can deliver fresh, entertaining content with a unique style. If a second season does get the green light, it promises to be just as bold, funny and twisted as the first.
