Actress Shefali Jariwala’s sudden death sent shockwaves through the entire industry. For the unversed, the popular actress passed away on June 27, 2025, due to a cardiac arrest. However, according to recent reports, she used to take vitamin supplements and had also gone through anti-ageing treatment. This has started a nationwide debate about the consumption of anti-ageing medications. Now, Patanjali founder Baba Ramdev has weighed in on the matter. He also talked about how healthy habits can improve a human’s lifespan.
Baba Ramdev recently sat in for an interview with NDTV and shared, "The hardware was fine, the software was faulty. The symptoms were fine, but the system was faulty. A person should be completely satisfied in life. Your food, diet, thoughts, and your physical structure must be right. Every cell of our body has a natural age. When you interfere with it, then it creates disasters internally, resulting in conditions like a heart attack. There is a difference in this superficial appearance. Appearing to be one and being one are different."

The yogic guru also talked about maintaining healthy habits for a longer lifespan. He said, “Humans have put so much burden on their brain, heart, eyes, and liver that people are now eating the food that is eaten in 100 years in just 25 years. Humans do not know how to manage themselves. If you keep doing well, then it is true that you will not grow old till 100 years. Discipline in food and good lifestyle are very important.”
Soon, Baba Ramdev’s debatable comment surfaced on social media. Fans condemned his remark and actively reacted to what he said. A user slammed his choice of words and wrote, “Let her soul rest in peace and let her family grieve in peace. Stop this bullshit.” Another person mentioned, “Stop rubbish, Let the soul rest in peace.” One more comment read, “Pls let her be..even vultures and hyenas don’t do this..we are killing her again and again , whatever the reason, let her go.”
