Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Song Bijuria: The 1990 song Bijuria was revamped for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari's first song, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. With Sonu Nigam and Asees Kaur's vocals, Bijuria garnered 10 million views in less than 24 hours. While the song presents the entire star cast of the movie but only Varun and Janhvi danced, which obviously annoyed viewers. Even though it was the ideal party song, netizens pointed out that the creators could have used talented dancers like Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra to perform to the upbeat choreography.

Bijuria song invited tons of reactions from social media users and Sanya Malhotra's admirers. The Mrs star is regarded as one of the greatest dancers, which is why her fans were disappointed. One of the users wrote, "Noo, I wanted Sanya to dance on this song. That would be fire. Janhvi is just unwated expressions." Another user wrote, "Idk why I am so triggered to not see Sanya Malhotra dancing." A third user said, "Why didn't Rohit and Sanya get to dance in this song. I'm watching this movie only for @sanyamalhotra, hope she gets equal screentime."

Many took to X  (previously Twitter) to express their anger on why Sanya Malhotra was not made to dance in the song. A user wrote - "What a CRIME to not make a legit dance choreographer Sanya Malhotra and Rohit dance, they both actually dance so well. Nothing against Janhvi and Varun but I miss Alia - Varun they are a vibe." Another slammed makers and said, "Are you telling me that Bijuria, a certified banger, got remade with such a fun crew but through it all, Rohit Saraf & Sanya Malhotra, two of the finest dancers in the industry today, just STOOD THERE & WATCHED?"

Tanishk Bagchi penned the re-created version, while Sonu Nigam and Asees Kaur sang it with a little twist. Speaking with Hindustan Times, the celebrated singer stated that remakes are not at all bad thing if they are done with respect and attention for the original authors. "Remakes, if done with respect and regard to the original creators, are not a bad thing at all. Sometimes remakes spoil a song, but a lot of times they bring old melodies back and create nostalgia for people who grew up with them," he said.

Sonu Nigam added, "I had the freedom to choose what I wanted to sing. We weren’t thinking of movies at all—it was a pop project. And now, after 26 years, it’s finding its way into a film. It is an incredible thing, really."
