Bigg Boss Telugu 9 New Contestant Update: The much-anticipated Bigg Boss Telugu 9 is gearing up for its grand premiere, and fans are buzzing with excitement. The return of superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni as the host adds to the thrill. This season is particularly special as it will feature commoners entering the Bigg Boss house for the first time, a change that has sparked curiosity among viewers. In preparation for this unique twist, the show’s creators have organised Bigg Boss Telugu 9 Agnipariksha. This event aims to select the commoner contestants who will join the show. There’s growing speculation around which celebrities might be part of Bigg Boss Telugu 9. One name drawing considerable attention is Shrasti Verma, the choreographer responsible for the dance moves in Pushpa 2: The Rule.

According to a report in Telugu Asianetnews Shrasti Verma, who co-choreographed the Pushpa Pushpa song, is likely to enter Bigg Boss Telugu 9. Fans remember her not only for her dance work but also for making headlines this year when she accused choreographer Jani Master of sexual harassment leading to his arrest. On the other hand, in a first for the franchise, this season invites everyday people, commoners to become contestants. To make that possible, they’ve launched a pre-show called Bigg Boss Telugu 9 Agnipariksha, where participants will be selected for the main show. The event is hosted by Sreemukhi, while former Bigg Boss Telugu contestants Abijeet, Bindu Madhavi, and Navdeep serve as judges, adding their experience and popularity to the process.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss Telugu 9 will be coming with a lot of new twists in the game. From commoners entering Bigg Boss house to Bigg Boss house having two different floors, the makers are definitely not leaving any stone unturned for the new season. There are also rumours about other possible celebrity entrants such as Navya Swamy, Kavyashree, TV artists like Deepika, Shiva Kumar, Debjani, Asha Shiny, Ramya (from Alekhya Chitti Pickles), and Tejaswini Gowda. The show is set to premiere on September 7, 2025.
