BIGHIT Music is set to debut a new boy group, CORTIS, on August 18, 2025, six years after TXT's debut. CORTIS's name represents Color Outside the Lines, symbolising creative freedom and breaking away from traditional norms. The group is known for their self-producing style, similar to BTS and TXT and has already gained attention for their collaborative spirit and emphasis on originality.

BigHit Music unveiled its new boy group, CORTIS, at midnight KST on August 7, featuring a minimalist teaser video with the group's name glowing in pink on a laptop screen. The five-member lineup consists of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. A new video is set to premiere on August 10 at midnight KST on HYBE LABELS' official YouTube channel, sparking speculation about whether it will reveal the group's debut track or showcase their sound and aesthetic.

CORTIS has also launched their official social media presence on X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok, allowing fans to follow their pre-debut journey.

CORTIS marks BigHit Music's first new boy group since TXT debuted in 2019 and is positioned as a "young creators' crew," where members will actively participate in producing their music, choreography, and videos.
