Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari has filed for divorce after nuclear arguments followed by allegations of cheating. According to a report in TMZ, Sam Asghari confronted Britney over rumours of her having a relationship outside their marriage. The singer had been adamant over the matter and was hurt by the allegations.

The report stated, “Britney Spears is hurt because the situation brings up old feelings for her. This is the last thing she needed, especially after her boys moved to Hawaii, being worried about the fires there, and so on.” It is also reported that during their fights Britney Spears often got physical with Sam Asghari followed by frequent screaming matches between the two.

The controversial singer has often been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. After her conservatorship, the actions of Britney Spears have been reported to be erratic and unpredictable. This stood out to be an issue for Sam Asghari, therefore forcing him to take this step.

Sam Asghari is living separately from the singing sensation. Hours after the news broke out, Britney Spears was even photographed driving around Los Angeles without a wedding ring.

The report further mentions that Sam has considered ending the marriage due to ‘irreconcilable differences.’ The court has listed their separation date on July 28. The court’s statement read, “There are various items of community and quasi-community assets and debts, the full nature and extent of which are unknown to [Sam] at this time.”

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari met back in 2016. Asghari got a gig in one of her music videos and stood by her during the court cases against her father. In 2021, the couple decided to tie the knot.
