Darrent Kent, an actor who appeared in ‘Game Of Thrones’ and ‘Dungeons And Dragons’ passed away on Friday. Aged 36, his talent agency, Carey Dodd Associates confirmed the news of his demise via a statement on ‘X’ posted on Tuesday. Darren Kent was born and raised in Essex and attended Italia Coni, graduating in 2007.
His agency shared the news on ‘X’ and wrote, “It is with deep sadness we have to tell you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday,” wrote the agency. “His parents and best friend [were] by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family in this difficult time. RIP my friend.”

Darren Kent debuted with ‘Mirrors’ in 2008 and went on to appear in an episode of ‘Game Of Thrones.’ He essayed the role of a goathered in Slavers Bay and was recently seen playing the role of a reanimated corpse on ‘Dungeons And Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.’
He won the best actor at the Van D’or Awards in 2023 for his role as Danny in ‘Sunny Boy.’ In the film, his character dealt with a rare skin condition that did not allow him to be in the sun. Just like his character in the film, Darren Kent also battled with a skin disorder, and also had arthritis and osteoporosis.

Kent also won an award for best writer and director for his short film ‘You Know Me’ in 2021 which earned him a January Award. Darren Kent, thus featured in films like ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’, ‘Marshal’s Law’, ‘Bloody Cuts’, ‘The Frankenstein Chronicles’, ‘Blood Drive’, ‘Happy Hours’, ‘Birds Sorrow’ and several others.
