Dating rumours surrounding BTS Jimin and actress Song Da Eun refuse to settle down, with fans widely spreading them on social media and urging the agency to finally set the record straight on Park Ji Min's relationship. The dating claims reignited after Song shared an elevator video that appeared to show Jimin recognising her outside an elevator, reportedly filmed at his Seoul apartment. Amid the dating rumours, Jimin's past love-related comments surfaced online. BTS’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed Jimin's past relationship with Song Da Eun, clarifying that they are not in a relationship at present.

BTS Jimin Dated Song Da Eun

On August 31, BigHit Music, which manages BTS, addressed reports about Jimin's alleged love life after he was swept up in dating rumours with Song Da Eun following the actress' viral cryptic TikTok post on August 27.

The agency released an official statement on the matter, BIGHIT MUSIC said, as quoted by Soompi, "Our company has refrained from making any statements until now in order to respect Jimin’s private life as well as the individual being mentioned in relation to it. However, as speculative reports concerning the artist’s personal life have continued to surface and groundless rumors have been circulating, we find it unavoidable to clarify the bare minimum facts."

Confirming the relationship timeline of Jimin, the agency stated, "The artist and the individual in question were once acquainted with mutual affection in the past, but that was several years ago, and they are not in a relationship at present. We ask that you refrain from making reckless speculations about their private lives. We earnestly request that you also refrain from any actions that could cause harm to the individual who is being mentioned alongside the artist."

Recently, Jimin found himself caught up in dating rumours with South Korean actress Song Da Eun. A now-deleted video, allegedly shared by Da Eun on her TikTok handle, reignited speculation about their relationship. In the viral clip, Da Eun was seen waiting for Jimin to come up the elevator and surprised him with a greeting. Upon seeing Song, the BTS star was heard saying, "Oh my. Did you know I was coming in? I came here deliberately without informing you." The video was reportedly taken at Jimin's apartment in Seoul.

This isn’t the first time Jimin and Da Eun have been linked. Back in 2022–23, speculations about a romance surfaced when Da Eun posted videos and photos from a Jamsil hotel on the same night BTS performed nearby. In June 2025, the rumours reignited when she hinted during a livestream about dating an “idol."

Her recent post garnered mixed reactions from the BTS ARMY, some believed the video to be an old one, while others slammed her for invading Jimin's privacy without his consent.
