Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor expressed their concerns about the growing misuse of AI-generated content. This comes after actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sought protection of his personality rights. During the trailer launch event of their upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, the actors discussed how artificial intelligence is becoming a threat to the entertainment industry. Varun said, it could reach a period when actors won't be needed and instead they could be created. He urged for laws to protect actors, so that artists aren't misused.

Varun and Janhvi attended the trailer launch of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with the film's other cast and crew members in Mumbai on Monday. During the launch event, they talked about many things, especially the trending topic of AI misuse.

Varun was heard saying, "See, technology I think does come with responsibility. It can be really helpful but it can be really misused as well. Right now we are all having fun with it. But it can, so I feel there will need to be some law and regulations surrounding it, especially so that at least actors and artists don't start getting misused. The rights don't start getting misused. We can reach a period where we don't need actors at all. You can just create. So I think actors have to come with an X factor to deliver. And if you have that X factor then you have to safeguard it."

Adding to it, Janhvi cited her own expample, saying, "When I see on social media, there are so many AI images being circulated against my will. You and I can say it’s an AI image, but the common man will think, ‘Yeh toh yeh pehen ke pohonch gayi'."
