Ram Charan, one of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars, has completed 18 glorious years in the film industry today, September 28. On this special occasion, his father and legendary actor Chiranjeevi shared a heartfelt note, expressing pride and admiration for his son’s journey. Ram Charan made his acting debut in 2007 with Chirutha, a film that introduced him as a lead hero to Telugu audiences. Over the years, he has become a household name, delivering several memorable performances and blockbuster hits. To celebrate his son’s milestone, Chiranjeevi took to his X (formerly Twitter) account and penned an emotional message in Telugu.

Reflecting on Ram Charan’s journey, Chiranjeevi wrote, “Charan Babu, I am immensely delighted that your cinematic journey, which began 18 years ago with Chirutha, has today firmly established itself in the hearts of millions of fans. The moment I saw you as a hero on screen… as a father, I can never forget it. Your discipline, hard work, determination, humility, and dedication have made you stand out uniquely in the industry.” He further added, “As a father, I always feel proud seeing you. With the love of Telugu audiences and the grace of God, I wish that you scale many more peaks. Victory be yours!”

Meanwhile, fans were deeply touched by the veteran actor’s warm words, which perfectly captured the emotions of a father watching his son carve a successful path while carrying forward a powerful legacy.

On the other hand, the production team of Ram Charan’s upcoming sports drama Peddi also released a note congratulating him on the milestone. From carrying a rich legacy on screen to staying grounded off the screen, you have stood apart and paved your own path, giving us countless moments of joy and pride. This is just the beginning. Bigger things await starting from Peddi.”

Ram Charan’s Recent Projects

After the global success of RRR, fans had sky-high expectations for Ram Charan’s next film, Game Changer. However, the Shankar directorial, which released in January this year, did not meet expectations at the box office. Despite this, the actor’s star power remains unshaken. Ram Charan is now preparing for the release of Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film, which explores sports and human emotions, is set to hit theatres on March 27, 2026. Fans are eagerly awaiting this project, believing it could be another milestone in his illustrious career.
