Daredevil Born Again Season 2: Krysten Ritter will indeed be playing her iconic role of Jessica Jones in the series, which has been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios. This announcement was made during Disney's Upfront presentation in New York, ending months of speculation. Krysten Ritter played the hard-edged private investigator in the series Jessica Jones, which is now available on JioHotstar.

Krysten Ritter stated during the presentation, "It's so great to be back.” She added, "Returning to Jessica after three seasons, and The Defenders, and now joining the MCU — this is going to be an incredible season." Her return marks another step in Marvel Studios' ongoing integration of Netflix's former Marvel characters into the mainline Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Meanwhile, Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock, otherwise known as Daredevil, had a big return in Daredevil: Born Again, and Ritter's return adds yet another fan favourite back into the mix. Season 1 of Born Again ended with some major movement that included Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk, now Mayor of New York, attempting to take power of the Red Hook port. With Matt Murdock back in his red suit and assisted by Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Frank Castle, aka The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), the stage is set for more action in the upcoming Season 2.

On the other hand, Charlie Cox stated, “Season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again was an incredible experience, and the response from fans and audiences has been overwhelming. The good news is we’re just getting started. We’re currently shooting Season 2, and it is heading in a bold new direction. I’m excited to finally suit up in the iconic black Daredevil suit – complete with the interlocking Ds on the chest. It’s something fans have been asking me about for over a decade, and that’s just the beginning of what we’ve got in store this season.” With Ritter's return, Daredevil: Born Again expands its scope, reuniting key characters from Marvel's earlier Netflix era. Season 2 of the Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again is currently in production.

Krysten Ritter’s ‘Jessica Jones’ was one of five Marvel shows, along with Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron First, The Punisher, and the crossover series The Defenders. Ritter received widespread praise for her portrayal of the character, who has super strength and the ability to fly. The return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is a significant development in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the show's second season already in production, fans are eagerly awaiting the reunion of Jessica Jones and Daredevil.
