The actress was initially offered Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial Spirit. It was reported that Deepika has dropped out of the film because of her increasing demands. Now, the filmmaker has replaced Padukone and cast Triptii Dimri alongside Prabhas for Spirit. Amid the buzz about the new cast, Vanga recently alleged that an actress had leaked the script of his upcoming movie and had put down a younger actress. The tweet not only went viral on social media, but fans also assumed that the director had been targeting Deepika with the allegations. Well, these allegations apparently pointing towards Deepika Padukone, have created a huge controversy for her.

According to reports, Deepika will be seen in the sequels of the blockbuster movies like Brahmastra, Kalki and Pathaan. She was reportedly roped into playing the lead role in The Intern, costarring Amitabh Bachchan. It is the Hindi remake of the 2015 Hollywood movie of the same name. The release dates of the movies are yet to be disclosed.
