Deol Family Hosts Dharmendra’s Prayer Meet Today; Check Time And Venue For Final Goodbye

Dharmendra, the most illustrious member of the Deol clan and a icon of Hindi cinema, passed away on November 24. Days before turning 90, the 'He-Man of Bollywood' left the world for heavenly abode following a protracted illness. The Deol family carefully carried out the last rites after his sudden demise. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Hema Malini and Esha Deol along with many big names from Bollywood paid their final tributes to the veteran actor. The family will host a prayer meeting for him today.

Dharmendra's prayer meet is planned for today, November 27 in Mumbai following his passing on November 24. A poster with the words Celebration Of Life and a picture of Dharmendra when he was younger was used by the Deol family to announce the prayer meet.

Dharmendra's prayer meet which will take place at Seaside Lawns, Taj Lands End, Bandra, Mumbai from 5 to 7:30 PM, will allow friends, family, and coworkers to gather and honour his life and legacy. The film industry and fans of the late actor are anticipated to attend in large numbers.

Dharmendra was hospitalised to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai due to health issues,  in the days preceding his demise. According to reports, he was put on a ventilator after having trouble breathing. On November 24, despite indications of progress, he passed away.

The late legendary actor's final ceremonies took place that same day in Mumbai. Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar were among the well-known movie stars that attended the last rite, demonstrating the respect he was accorded by his peers.

Many celebrities have paid their respects and sent their condolences to Dharmendra's family at his Juhu home in the days since his passing. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor paid a call on Tuesday, as did Hrithik Roshan and his father, Rakesh Roshan. Additionally spotted visiting the home were Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Asha Parekh, Karisma Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Jackky Bhagnani.
