Dhanashree Varma has been in the headlines lately, not for her work, but because of her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. She has opened up about dealing with trolls and life after the separation. Her recent statement about manifesting love has once again caught everyone's attention. Not only fans, but even Farah Khan was surprised by her comment. Dhanashree invited Farah and her cook, Dilip, to her house for one of the latter’s famous food vlogs. Let's take a look at what sparked the conversation about love and her relationship with Chahal post-divorce.
Dhanashree Varma Says She’s Manifesting Love
Dhanashree gave Farah a house tour, during which an area with multiple beautiful paintings caught her attention, especially a painting of love birds. Revealing the story behind it, Dhanashree shared that the artwork was created by her grandmother while she was dealing with Parkinson’s disease. Farah picked her favourite painting, the one with the love birds. To this, Dhanashree said, "Manifesting (love)." Surprised by the comment, Farah replied, “Firse? Very brave of you," while giving her a side hug.
Farah also spoke about Dhanashree’s divorce from Yuzi and how things changed after the couple's split. During the house tour, the choreographer asked her, “Is this the first time you’re living alone? First you were with your parents, then you married Yuzi and lived with him. Both of you had come to my party…" To this, Dhanashree replied, "I am doing multiple things but I like my space."
Farah also revealed that she is still in touch with Chahal. She added, “I am in touch with Yuzi also on messages. He used to call me maa."
On trolling, Dhanashree said, "I don't know, I don't pay attention. I think one has to be mature."
Dhanashree Verma is known as a choreographer, dancer, YouTuber, and dentist. She gained recognition through her dance videos on social media and later with her participation in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. In December 2020, Dhanashree married Yuzvendra Chahal and since then, her personal life has been under public scrutiny. The couple separated in June 2022. In February 2025, Dhanashree and Yuzvendra filed a joint petition seeking divorce by mutual consent and their divorce was granted in March.
