Veteran actor Dharmendra is currently recovering and receiving medical care at his residence after being discharged from Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates about Bollywood's He-Man. Although his family, including his wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol, have been sharing updates following the false rumours. After Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra's co-star, Shatrunghan Sinha made a special visit and met Hema Malini to inquire about the actor's health. He was accompanied by his ‘bestest half’, wife Poonam Sinha.

Shatrughan Sinha Checks On ‘Elder Brother’ Dharmendra

Taking to X handle, Shatrughan Sinha shared a series of photos featuring himself, his wife and Hema Malini. Along with the post, the veteran actor wrote, "Along with my 'bestest half' @PoonamSinha went to meet, greet & God Bless, our very dear family friend, one of the finest human beings, star/actress, par excellence, artist of the highest calibre, an able Parliamentarian @dreamgirlhema."

He added, "Our prayers are with them all & we inquired about 'his' our elder brother's & the family's wellbeing too."

Shatrughan Sinha and Dharmendra have worked together in films like Dost, Zalzala, Shehzaade and many others.

The legendary actor has been making headlines following his hospitalisation due to deteriorating health. After receiving treatment, Dharmendra was discharged on November 12. Following his stay in the hospital, several reports emerged claiming he is no more. However, his daughter Esha Deol shut down the rumours with an official statement confirming that he was alive and recovering.

Sunny Deol's team also issued a statement requesting everyone to respect the family's privacy at this time. The statement read, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you."

Dharmendra 90th Birthday Celebration Update

As Dharmendra will be turning 90 on December 8, 2025, his family, including his wife Hema Malini and children, is planning a birthday celebration depending on his health. According to a source quoted by Bollywood Hungama, "If God is willing, we will be celebrating two birthdays next month, Dharamji’s and Esha’s." It will be a double celebration for his 90th birthday and a belated birthday party for Esha Deol.

The entire nation is praying for Dharmendra's speedy recovery and well-being.
