Dharmendra Health Update: Veteran Actor ‘Is Doing Fine And Better Than Earlier’ At Home | Report

Dharmendra has been facing some health issues for over a month now. The veteran actor was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai this month. On November 12, Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital and since then, he has been getting medical treatment at his residence. Days later, post his discharge, there is an update about his health. An insider told NDTV, “He is fine, better than earlier.” Well, this news is definitely going to be a sigh of relief for his fans and well-wishers.

During Dharmendra’s stay at the hospital, there were false rumours circulating online about his death, which was later clarified by his wife, Hema Malini and Esha Deol. Not only that, they also condemned the death reports. In a statement then, the veteran actress wrote, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”

After Dharmendra was discharged, Sunny Deol’s team also shared a statement on the family’s behalf. They also shared that the treatment will be done at his residence. The statement read, “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”

Recently, a video from the hospital went viral on social media, where Dharmendra can be seen lying on a hospital bed while his first wife, Prakash Kaur, broke down in tears. She was crying inconsolably and praying for his health. The video also featured Sunny Deol, who was trying to console his mother, Bobby Deol, getting emotional. In the clip, Sunny’s sons, Karan and Rajveer, were also seen. As per reports, the video was reportedly leaked by a hospital staff, who is being investigated in this matter.

On the other hand, Hema Malini is reportedly planning to celebrate Dharmendra’s 90th birthday on December 8. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “If God is willing, we will be celebrating two birthdays next month- Dharamji’s and Esha’s.”
