Hema Malini broke her silence about reports circulating around Dharmendra’s death, hours after he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. According to reports, the veteran actor suffered from breathing issues, following which he was admitted to the hospital. But false news about his death stormed earlier this morning. Soon, Esha Deol confirmed the news that her father, Dharmendra, is stable and recovering. Hema Malini took no time to react to the news and shared her views about the speculations. She urged everyone to respect the family’s privacy and not to spread false information.

Hema Malini tweeted, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”

Before Hema Malini, Esha Deol reacted to reports and said, "THE MEDIA SEEMS TO BE IN OVERDRIVE AND SPREADING FALSE NEWS. MY FATHER IS STABLE & RECOVERING. WE REQUEST EVERYONE TO GIVE OUR FAMILY PRIVACY. THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS FOR PAPAS SPEEDY RECOVERY."
