Actor Dharmendra's health has been the topic of discussion after being surrounded by speculations. Earlier today, rumours claiming that he had been put on a ventilator, with some even stating that he is in critical condition, left his fans concerned. However, his team refuted the rumours, confirming that he is under observation and there is nothing to worry about. His wife and actor Hema Malini has now shared an update about her husband's health on social media. She requested everyone to pray for his speedy recovery.

Hema Malini Shares First Post After Dharmendra’s Hospitalisation

Taking to Instagram, Hema Malini shared a smiling portrait of her husband along with a health update. Her post read, "I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him. Dharmendra Health Update: Hema Malini Reacts To Ventilator Rumours

Sharing the health update, Hema Malini told HT City. “We're hoping for his speedy recovery.” She was spotted at the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai, where the veteran actor is currently admitted. Besides her, Dharmendra's son Sunny Deol was also seen visiting his father.

Following multiple reports claiming that Dharmendra was shifted to intensive care after experiencing breathlessness and was placed on ventilator support, Sunny Deol’s team also dismissed the rumours. In a statement to ETimes, they clarified, “It’s rumour mongering like always, Sir is getting better. He’s under observation. There’s nothing to worry.”

Earlier in October, the actor had visited the same hospital for a routine check-up and was admitted for additional examinations. According to a report by India Today, quoting the actor's team, stating, “Someone may have spotted him and created a news piece. He is absolutely fine and there’s nothing to be worried about.”

They also added, "He undergoes a series of tests periodically given his age, and is in the hospital for the same."

As Dharmendra nears his 90th birthday on December 8, fans continue to pray for his speedy recovery.
