Dharmendra’s Recovery Brings Hope As Hema Malini And Family Plan 90th Birthday Celebration | Report

Dharmendra is apparently doing well after being released from the hospital earlier this week. Reports of the celebrity's allegedly declining health emerged after he was reportedly brought to the Breach Candy hospital earlier this month due to age-related illnesses. His family dispelled any false information and declared that he was, in fact, recovering and in a stable state, despite persistent allegations that he needed ventilator support for breathing and other reasons.

Dharmendra's health had been making headlines for a few days. Fans and relatives were worried about the 89-year-old actor's health. After being released earlier this month, he is currently recuperating at home under medical supervision. His condition is getting better, according to a recent update.

Dharmendra will celebrate turning 90 on December 8, 2025. According to a Bollywood Hungama article, the family—which includes his children and wife Hema Malini—is organising a double celebration for his 90th birthday on December 8th, as well as a belated birthday party for Esha Deol.

"If God is willing, we will be celebrating two birthdays next month — Dharamji's and Esha’s," a source close to the family told the publication.

In the past, Dharmendra's children, Sunny, Bobby, and Esha Deol, came to see how he was doing when he was in the hospital. Hema Malini, the wife, was also spotted there. Later, Hema Malini and their daughter Esha Deol released separate statements indicating that he was still alive and recovering as suspicions about his ongoing treatment began to circulate.

On October 31, Dharmendra complained of being out of breath, which started his health scare. After being monitored for a few days, he was released on November 12. His family keeps a careful eye on him and makes sure he stays comfortable at home.
