Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar hit the theatres on December 5, 2025. The movie also stars Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. Upon its release, Dhurandhar received highly positive reviews from fans and critics alike. Nearly a month before its release, reports suggested that the makers had decided to split Dhurandhar into two parts due to its expansive story and extensive raw footage. Now that the first installment is out in theatres, it concludes with a clear tease for Part 2, officially confirming its release date.
Dhurandhar 2 Release Date
According to a report in MensXP, Dhurandhar 2 is set for release on March 19, 2026, which also marks Eid.
Dhurandhar 2 Set For Box Office Clash
Dhurandhar 2 is all set to have a tough box office clash. The movie will release alongside Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 which also stars Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi. At the time, Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale will also release in theatres. It also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth. Apart from Dhamaal 4 and Toxic, Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur's Dacoit will also release in theatres.
About Dhurandhar: Dhurandhar draws inspiration from real-life events, touching upon geopolitical tensions and several covert RAW missions. One of its key influences is Operation Lyari, the government-backed crackdown on powerful gangs and crime networks in Karachi’s Lyari region, which forms an important backdrop for the story.

Principal photography was carried out between July 2024 and October 2025, with shoots held across Thailand, Mumbai, Punjab and Ladakh. The film’s music and score were created by Shashwat Sachdev. Running for 214 minutes, it stands among the longest Indian films ever produced.
