Dhurandhar Trailer: The trailer of Aditya Dhar’s latest spy thriller, Dhurandhar, has become the centre of a heated discussion online. While many viewers are excited by its dark, intense action, others have criticised the graphic nature of its visuals. Creator and commentator Dhruv Rathee shared his reaction on Twitter, calling the trailer disturbing and even comparing its violent moments to ISIS beheading videos. Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh in lead roles and also features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles.

YouTuber Dhruv Rathee accused Aditya Dhar of ‘crossing the line’ and warned that such scenes could desensitise young audiences. Rathee also questioned the Censor Board’s stance. His post read, “ Aditya Dhar has truly crossed a limit of cheapness in Bollywood. The extreme violence, gore and torture  shown in his latest film trailer is the equivalent of watching ISIS beheadings and calling it “entertainment”. His lust for money is so unhinged that he is willingly poisoning the minds of the young generation, desensitizing them to gore and glorifying unimaginable torture. This is the chance for Censor Board to show if have a bigger problem with people kissing or watching someone get skinned alive.: Scenes showing Arjun Rampal skinning someone alive and Akshaye Khanna beating a person with a stone have especially upset some viewers, who believe the brutality is unnecessary and excessive.
