An anti-drug disclaimer and additional visuals in the end credits were also requested. CBFC clarified that the film is entirely fictional and does not depict or reference the life of Major Mohit Sharma, addressing concerns raised earlier by his family.

The trailer hints at a high-intensity story inspired by true events, centred around India-Pakistan tensions. Ranveer Singh appears as a rugged undercover spy, and early reactions suggest the film could be one of the most violent action dramas in Indian cinema. There are also strong reports that Dhurandhar is planned as a two-part saga, with the second part expected in early 2026.
