Alia Bhatt made a mesmerising debut at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Since stepping onto the red carpet of the esteemed festival for the first time, she has had the world talking about her looks. She impressed with back-to-back appearances and left her fans speechless with her outfit choices whether it was a Schiaparelli gown, a yellow co-ord set, or a custom Gucci saree. Now, as she wraps up this year's Cannes by sharing behind-the-scenes moments, the actress has confirmed her appearance at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. By confirming her attendance for next year, Alia has ignited excitement among her fans.
Alia Bhatt Confirms 2026 Cannes Appearance
On Wednesday, Alia took to her Instagram and dropped a series of photos and videos from the Cannes event. From getting ready for day 1, enjoying gala night to exploring the streets with her team. Along with the post, she wrote, "cannes-dids.okay bye, see you next year."
Soon after her post, fans praised her debut look. One user wrote, "Loved your debut somuch!! Omg I mean I'm speechless aliaaaaaaa." Another user commented, "you’ve ruled the entire plot. so proud!!"

Instead of going back home after Cannes, Alia went to Spain to attend the wedding of her best friend Tanya Saha Gupta and David Angelov. A video from the wedding festivities has been going viral, where the Love & War actress can be seen dressed in a multi-coloured kalidar lehenga paired with a printed mustard blouse. Exuding a boho vibe, Alia wore a purple bandanna and a pair of sunglasses. Being a bridesmaid, she can be seen enjoying and playing with the flower petals. Her close friend and actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor was present at the event.
Meanwhile, on the acting front, Alia made her last screen appearance in Jigra, which also starred Vedang Raina. She is gearing up for the highly anticipated action movie Alpha. For the first time, she will be collaborating with Sharvari Wagh. Alia also has Love & War in the pipeline. Marking her reunion with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
