Addressing the curiosity, Armaan Jain clarified in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama that Alia was unable to attend the shoot due to her packed work schedule. He explained, "She had prior commitments to shoot. I might sound filmy, but like Raj Kapoor said, 'work is worship'," ending all speculation. The creators, Armaan Jain and Smriti Mundhra, confirmed that her absence was not intentional; she simply did not have matching dates for the filming. This revelation has finally cleared the confusion among fans who had been wondering why she was missing.
