Ranveer Singh’s highly anticipated movie Don 3 is reportedly facing multiple delays. The movie s expected to feature Vikrant Massey opposite the Dhurandhar star, marking their third collaboration after the Lootera and Dil Dhadakne Do movies. Helmed by Farhan Akhtar, recent reports claim that Don 3 is slated to go on floors by January 2026. Recent reports also suggest that Kiara Advani, who was previously rumoured to have been dropped from this high-octane project due to her pregnancy, is now set to rejoin the cast. Additionally, there are rumours that Priyanka Chopra, a familiar face from the Don franchise, might make a cameo appearance.
Ranveer Singh, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama, needed time to prepare mentally and physically for his role in Don 3. “Yes, there’s been a delay—but it couldn’t be helped. Ranveer Singh, who replaced Shah Rukh Khan in the franchise, had to deal with a wave of online trolling for ‘daring’ to step into SRK’s shoes. Farhan and Ranveer mutually decided to lie low and let the heat die down. Ranveer also needed time to physically and mentally prepare for the role, which requires rigorous martial arts training,” the report said.

Meanwhile, the source further added, “After that, Kiara Advani—who was signed on to replace Priyanka Chopra as the female lead—got pregnant. Farhan had to halt the film’s progress due to her changed circumstances. To add to that, Farhan got deeply immersed in his own acting schedule for the intense war film 120 Bahadur, where he plays Major Shaitan Singh. That film is scheduled to release on November 21, 2025."

Now, since makers are preparing for the movie to hit cinemas by December 2026, there are also chances that Priyanka Chopra might make a cameo aapearance in Don 3. “There is a possibility that Priyanka Chopra may return to the Don franchise," the report further stated.
On the other hand, Kriti Sanon is also reportedly in talks to join the third installment in the Don franchise. According to an earlier report in Zoom, "Kriti is currently shooting for her upcoming film Tere Ishk Mein and will begin work on her next big project, which she hasn’t officially revealed yet. The actress has a busy schedule this year, juggling multiple projects back-to-back, and is booked for at least a year."

With no official confirmation and everything currently being kept under wraps by the makers, anticipation among fans are increasing for further updates. Don 3 is poised to be one of the most anticipated movies of the upcoming year.
