Payal Rohatgi, who is known for Bigg Boss and 36 China Town, has recently come under major scrutiny after her recent WhatsApp chat went viral. The actress' recent comment to a Journalist, who asked about the truth behind the recent speculations about her separation rumours with Sangram Singh, has gained the attention of the netizens. Payal slammed the reporter and urged her not to do drugs during the day as an overdose might kill her. Well, last month, Shefali Jariwala passed away due to reportedly taking an anti-ageing injection on an empty stomach. Investigators found anti-ageing medicines, skin glow tablets and vitamin supplements. Now, Payal’s war of words with reporters has grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons.
The message read, “Hey Payal, good morning! I hope you’re doing well. There have been some reports going around suggesting that things might not be okay between you and Sangram, and that you both might be heading for a divorce. Is there any truth to these rumours? Just wanted to check with you.” Payal replied, “Sorry to know Vijaya that u are suffering from depression. Kindly don’t do drugs in the day… Overdose might kill.”
When the reporter clarified that she was simply asking based on the ongoing reports and not writing a story without verifying, the actress said “And then it will be called that anti-aging medication did that to u by your own paper.”
Payal Rohatgi didn’t mention Shefali’s name but netizens believe that she was taking reference of the late actress’ death to exchange words with the journalist. In another WhatsApp chat with another reporter, “Hope you are not into depression and drinking. When you all made fun of my mental health did I react like this? As a journalist don’t f**k around with me again. Go file your story.”
“U all have been following me since 3 years waiting for me to crumble. U think I am born yesterday? Karma comes for all. How ever sweet u portray like fraud. Now I hope you will kindly get lost,” she also added.

The screenshots of the same has been going viral on social media which brought huge criticism. Some called her ‘vile’, ‘disgusting’. A user said, “If you can’t handle questions, then stop putting your life out for public consumption. And the worst part? She’s clearly making a vile insinuation about how Shefali Jariwala died. That’s not just despicable, it’s cruel, and shameful.”
