Krrish 4 Update: The highly anticipated instalment from the hit franchise is returning with Krrish 4. Thanks to its storyline and casting, the upcoming fourth instalment has been creating waves. Making it even more exciting, Hrithik Roshan will not only act in the film but will also make his directorial debut. He will be taking over his father Rakesh Roshan's role, the original creator of the popular franchise. The film has been surrounded by speculations about familiar faces from the franchise joining Krrish 4. As per the latest buzz, Priyanka Chopra may return and reunite with Hrithik for this new venture.

Priyanka Chopra May Return To Krrish 4

Priyanka appeared in Krrish opposite Hrithik in 2006. If reports of her returning to the franchise are to be believed, it will mark her return after 19 long years.

As per a source quoted by Bombay Times stated, “Priyanka Chopra will return to Krrish 4, but there will be another actress as well, whose name cannot be divulged as of now."

Amid the casting buzz, Hrithik and Priyanka were recently spotted in New Jersey as they attended Nick Jonas’ play The Last Five Years. The photos of them went viral, sparking excitement for the reunion.

Reports have been circulating online that veteran actress Rekha, who played Hrithik’s grandmother in Koi Mil Gaya, will also be marking her return. Not only her, but Preity Zinta's name is also coming up, reportedly to join the fourth instalment of the Krrish franchise.

However, the latest developments reveal that Rekha is likely to make a special appearance and Zinta may not be part of the movie. A source added, "There is a possibility of Rekha being seen in a cameo, but Preity Zinta’s presence is sheer speculation and not true.”

Krrish 4 Plot

The upcoming movie will jump decades following the release of Krrish 3 in 2013. Earlier, in an interview, Rakesh Roshan shed light on what Hrithik's Krrish 4 is going to be about. “Now is the right time for Hrithik to move ahead and take Krrish forward. Krrish is ingrained in Hrithik, and his vision is of today’s generation. I could not entrust the franchise to a more able creative mind, other than him.”

The production of the film is expected to kick off early next year.
