Rajinikanth is all set to reprise his role as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in the upcoming Jailer 2, and the rumour is Hrithik Roshan might make a cameo appearance too. But here's something you probably didn't know, the two have actually worked together before, way back in 1986, in a movie titled Bhagwaan Dada.
Yes, you read that right. This was long before Hrithik Roshan even made his debut in Bollywood.
Hrithik Roshan And Rajinikanth's First Movie Together
Hrithik Roshan appeared as a child actor in the 1986 action drama Bhagwaan Dada, which starred Rajinikanth and Sridevi in the lead. He played Govinda, Bhagwaan Dada's adopted son, a performance that got noticed even back then.
Years later, in the documentary The Roshans, Hrithik opened up about working alongside Rajinikanth at such a young age. He recalled the superstar being incredibly kind and patient with him on set, never once making him feel small or out of place.
"He was quite gentle and generous. When I messed up a shot, Rajni sir used to take the blame so that I would not get conscious as a child. At that time I did not know I was working with a legend. For me, he was Rajini uncle," he said.
