Actress Esha Gupta is a popular Bollywood diva, known for her gorgeous looks and sizzling social media presence. She has been a part of several hit projects like Jannat 2, Commando 2, Baadhsaho, among many others. In 2018, the actress was linked to cricketer Hardik Pandya, but never talked about it openly. Recently, during an interview, she opened up about the whole buzz and shared what actually happened. The Rustom actress explained that she was in a talking stage with Hardik Pandya, but never really dated him.

Esha Gupta told Siddharth Kannan during an interview on his YouTube channel, “Yeah, for some time we were talking. I don’t think we were dating, but yeah, we were talking for a couple of months. We were at that ‘maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t’ stage. It ended before we even reached the dating stage. So it wasn’t dating-dating. We met once or twice, that’s it. So yeah, as I said, it was a couple of months and then it ended."

Talking about whether there was ever a possibility of them being together, the actress replied, “may be it could have happened,” but also revealed that compatibility and timing were not on point. She added, “There was no drama or bitterness. It just wasn’t meant to be. It’s not that there was something lacking in him or me - we were just very different. And in a month or two, even he realised I wasn’t his type, and I realised he wasn’t mine.”

Further, she even talked about the Koffee With Karan controversy surrounding the cricketer and shared that it didn’t bother her because they were not on talking terms at that point. Talking about her work life, Esha said that she enjoys her family life more than having any limelight. She even acknowledged that without a camera, there would be no Esha Gupta, but at the end of the day, she finds comfort at home with her family.

In the professional zone, Esha Gupta was last seen in Ek Badnaam Aashram 3 Part 2 on MX Player alongside Bobby Deol. She also played the role of DCP Laxmi Rathi in One Day: Justice Delivered. Reportedly, she will soon be seen joining the cast of Hera Pheri 3.
