Swara Bhasker tied the knot with Fahad Ahmad, a prominent activist and politician from the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar), in 2023. Before joining the NCP, Fahad was also a member of the Samajwadi Party. Swara and Fahad’s union has been a blend of Bollywood and political activism, and the couple is known for their vocal and expressive natures when it comes to discussing politics. Swara is often spotted openly talking about politics, and Fahad can be frequently seen taking part in rallies. However, recently, the couple seemed to have shared a difference of opinion when it came to the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is also a politician.

Fahad Ahmad On Kangana Ranaut:

Fahad Ahmad and Swara Bhasker recently shared a moment of disagreement while talking about Kangana Ranaut. During a recent interview with Filmygyan, the couple was supposed to give hashtags to different celebrities. On being asked about Kangana Ranaut, Fahad said, "I will say #BadPolitician. Because (of the) flood-affected Mandi region (Kangana is BJP MP from Mandi), but despite being an MP, she kept saying, 'What can I do? I am not the Prime Minister. I'm not a Minister. Swara Bhasker On Kangana Ranaut:

To balance out his statement, Fahad complimented Kangana Ranaut’s acting and said, “She is a really good actor and I really like her as an actor, but she is a very bad politician." His wife Swara Bhasker appeared to be in shock at his statement, as the actress didn’t agree with what he said. Replying to his comment, Swara stated, "I will say #Destiny'sChild. There is something very admirable about her and her journey and #NeverGiveUp, I don't think she gives up in life."

Fahad Ahmad also mentioned that after his marriage with Swara, Kangana sweetly complimented them, saying that they looked compatible. But this didn’t change his stance about her being a bad politician. To this, Swara chimed in, "Pachas baar mat bolo (Don't say it 50 times)."

Kangana Ranaut And Swara Bhasker’s Equation:

After working together on Tanu Weds Manu in 2011 and its 2015 sequel, a public feud erupted between actresses Kangana Ranaut and Swara Bhaskar. In 2020, Kangana made headlines when she called Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu ‘B-grade actresses’ in an X post. Swara responded to the insult with a post of her own and called it a compliment. The following year, Kangana took another jab at Swara and Taapsee in an interview, where she suggested they denied nepotism to impress filmmaker Karan Johar but still failed to secure roles.
