Farah Khan's vlog featuring Dhanashree Verma has sparked controversy, with some Redditors criticising the choreographer for 'exploiting' Dhanashree's divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal for views. In the vlog, Dhanashree opened up about her post-divorce life, revealing that she and Chahal have moved on, settled their issues and remain in touch via text messages. While some appreciated her candidness, others felt Farah's questioning was insensitive and intrusive, particularly when discussing her personal life.
A Reddit post read, "Farah kept circling back to her marriage with Yuzvendra, even though Dhanashree gave vague, uninterested answers. I’ve seen Farah interview bigger celebs with exes & divorces, but never push that angle with them. It came off a bit condescending, like she felt more comfortable being casually insensitive because Dhanashree isn’t a huge star."
Another person commented, "Yeah, she was repeatedly asking about Yuzi and her past, how they met and whatnot after separation, she was doing it for views."
"Whatever the intentions were, whether it was Dhanashree’s PR or not, it didn’t make Farah look good at all," wrote a user.

While a section of fans also came in defense of Farah. "You are being EXTREMELY naive if you think she wouldn’t have mentioned beforehand that these topics would be touched upon," another user commented, "I felt she was rather mature about asking those questions, so was Dhanashree in answering them. It was huge celebrity news, so it was better handled by mentioning it as an actual factual event. Plus, how are you conveniently missing the entire segment of her asking and discussing all the upcoming movies, songs, shows, etc and asking her about her stint as a dentist?"
Dhanashree Verma earlier reflected on her recent divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal, stating that while her parents were understandably upset, the public's reaction was even more painful for her. However, she emphasised that both she and Chahal have moved on graciously, accepted the situation, and now wish each other well.
