Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur continues to create a monumental wave across the nation, long before its release. The film’s promotional content, including teasers, trailers, character intros and behind-the-scenes glimpses has now collectively crossed 200 million views across social media, marking it as one of the most emotionally resonant and widely discussed upcoming films of the year.
The phenomenal response reflects the audience’s strong connection to stories of real bravery and sacrifice. 120 Bahadur brings to the forefront the unspoken and often overlooked courage of 120 soldiers who stood united in one of the most defining moments of Indian military history. Farhan Akhtar, who has consistently delivered narratives rooted in emotional depth (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Lakshya), once again steps into a zone of sincerity and storytelling responsibility and it’s clearly striking a nationwide chord.
What has truly stood out is the film’s emotional tone. The visuals, dialogues, and minimal background score in the teaser have been praised for their authenticity, with audiences lauding the film for not resorting to loud dramatization, but instead letting honour and sacrifice speak for themselves.
