Bigg Boss 19 contestant and self-proclaimed spiritual influencer Tanya Mittal has found herself in legal trouble after Mumbai-based influencer Faizan Ansari filed an FIR against her at the Gwalior SSP office. The complaint accuses her of fraud, spreading false claims, and misleading the public with her personal stories and luxurious lifestyle statements made on the reality show. Tanya Mittal has gained attention for her extravagant statements on the show. She has claimed that her home is “more beautiful than a five-star hotel,” that she has “over 150 bodyguards,” and that she travels to different cities just for food to Delhi for dal, Agra for coffee, and Dubai for baklava. Faizan’s complaint suggests these statements are misleading and send the wrong message to society by glorifying false luxury.

According to Faizan Ansari, Tanya has deceived several people and even caused harm to those close to her. He alleged that her boyfriend Balraj ended up in jail because of her actions. Faizan further accused her of lying about her family background and personal life on Bigg Boss 19. Following the FIR, he demanded strict action and an arrest warrant against Tanya, claiming that “an innocent person is suffering in prison because of her.” In his statement to the news agency ANI, Faizan said that he had known Tanya and Balraj for years. He accused Tanya of cheating and betraying Balraj, leading to his imprisonment. Faizan travelled from Mumbai to Gwalior to submit a detailed written complaint to the Gwalior SSP, presenting what he described as “proof and truths” about Tanya’s conduct.

Meanwhile, he also criticised her for allegedly tarnishing Gwalior’s image through her exaggerated claims. “We come from Maharashtra, and when we hear the name Gwalior, we think of people like the Scindias and a city growing fast like a metro. But a girl like Tanya Mittal is degrading its reputation by making outrageous claims such as owning a house bigger than the Bigg Boss 19 set,” Faizan told reporters. The influencer also submitted a complaint to the Divisional Commissioner’s office, urging authorities to take quick action to protect Gwalior’s reputation. His allegations have sparked widespread discussion online, with many social media users mocking Tanya’s grand claims.

While some viewers dismiss her as an attention-seeker, others believe that such statements could mislead young followers. The controversy has added to the ongoing drama surrounding Bigg Boss 19, though Tanya remains safe from eviction this week. Contestants Mridul Tiwari, Gaurav Khanna, Malti Chahar, and Neelam Giri are currently in the danger zone.
