Abhishek Banerjee, whose Rana Naidu season 2 has recently been released on Netflix, talked about censorship in movies and OTT shows. The actor mentioned that the industry has improved when it comes to showcasing bold topics and scenes. He feels the industry has come a long way and the progress is much needed. But Abhishek Banerjee also clarified that he does not support censorship in movies and shows. Here is what the actor said!

And apart from words like abuse, fool, tomato, potato, we grow up. This censorship starts right from school, when we’re told what we can’t say. From the moment we start understanding things, we’re told what to say and what not to say."
The actor emphasised how even films and web series now show more bold topics and scenes which has now no limits. He stated that the industry has come a long way and more progress is needed. Can Rana tame the storm called Rauf? Or is this the one fix that will break him for good? The clock is ticking. The walls are closing in. And for the Naidus, it’s war—with Rauf at their heels.”
