The cult comedy movie Fukrey, starring Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Richa Chaddha, and others, has completed 12 years since its release in 2013. Fukrey, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Excel Entertainment, garnered immense love from fans and paved the way for two sequels – Fukrey Returns (2017) and Fukrey 3 (2023). To mark the occasion, Ali Fazal and Pulkit Samrat shared a series of unseen throwback pictures and videos on Sunday, June 15, from the sets of the iconic movie on social media.

Ali Fazal's post featured candid moments, prep scenes, and laughter-filled memories that took fans right back to the film's release. He wrote, "12 years ago we blasted out into the scene. Thank you to the team of @excelmovies and of course @ritesh_sid & @faroutakhtar for championing a bunch of whackos like us… on a film like this.. to many more place holders in history. To @mriglamba: I owe you big. More than just for Fukrey."

Pulkit Samrat also shared a glimpse of behind-the-scenes moments from the sets and promotional tours of the movie, evoking nostalgia among users. Meanwhile, the movie reportedly made a total box office collection of Rs 36.5 crore in India. The franchise has been a huge success, with Fukrey 3 collecting Rs 96.65 crore nett at the Indian box office and Rs 128.37 crore gross at the worldwide box office. The movie also featured Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Priya Anand, Pankaj Tripathi and Vishakha Singh among others.
