G2 First Look Posters Out: On the 7th anniversary of the 2018 blockbuster Goodachari, the makers have officially launched its much-awaited sequel, G2, by revealing gripping first-look posters. Starring Adivi Sesh once again as Agent Gopi, the sequel also features Emraan Hashmi and Wamiqa Gabbi in major roles. The posters give fans a thrilling preview of what’s to come, an action-packed spy thriller with international scale and high production value.

G2 movie’s team shared the exciting update on Instagram with the caption, “Get ready to watch the Biggest Indian Action Spy Thriller in theatres. #G2 – shot across 6 countries, 23 sets and over 150 days. WORLDWIDE RELEASE ON MAY 1st, 2026. In Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.” Directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, the film has been shot over a period of 150 days across six countries and 23 custom-built sets. Meanwhile, Adivi Sesh, who plays the lead once again, expressed his excitement with a heartfelt post. “I was silent until now because we’ve been building something EXPLOSIVE,” he wrote. “Shooting in six countries. 23 sets. 150 days. Releasing in 5 languages. My BIGGEST. Exploding worldwide MAY DAY! May 1, 2026. In Theatres.” Reflecting on the journey of G2, Adivi added, “This has been a project we’ve lived and breathed for years. With director Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, we’ve dared to dream bigger — taking this story to a global scale while keeping its soul deeply personal. Emraan and Wamiqa are in power-packed roles that really elevate the intensity of the film.”

On the other hand, in a recent birthday post dedicated to director Vinay Kumar, Adivi praised the filmmaker and wrote, “Happy birthday, my friend. It’s been an honour to be part of your vision. You’re one of the most talented people I’ve ever worked with. The fans are going to be blown away by the #G2 box office monster you’re creating. I can’t wait for the world to see it. Thank you for your passion and hard work.”
