Famous YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, also known as Flying Beast, recently posted a video defending the deceased pilots of the Air India crash that happened in Ahmedabad. Previously, he had debunked theories that suggested the plane crash happened due to human error. In his opinion, it was a dual-engine failure. Now, the popular YouTuber has shown support to the brave pilots who refused to fly unsafe aircraft amid the Air India cancellations. After the tragic incident, several Air India flights were cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Gaurav Taneja took to his X (Twitter) account and praised the precautionary step taken by the pilots. Gaurav wrote, “Lot of Air India flight getting cancelled recently due to technical snags, after the 12th June accident. Pilots hopefully have stopped accepting the aircraft’s with so many MEL’s each flight. It increases their workload immensely. Everyone knows that the “Red” airline is being (sic).”

On Tuesday, Flying Beast uploaded a video mentioning that the air crash could have been possible due to the overloading of the passengers. Citing video of the crash and data made available online, he said, “The aircraft is overloaded because airlines earn maximum money from cargo, and they report less cargo on paper, but actually they overload the aircraft. Was that the reason behind the crash?”

After the shocking incident of the Ahmedabad air crash, there have been several flight disruptions faced by Air India, which have led to the cancellation or diversion of flights. Reportedly, on Monday, at least three 787 Dreamliners operated by major airlines - British Airways, Lufthansa, and Air India - made emergency returns to their departure airports. On June 12, a London-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft crashed into a hostel complex after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad.

Again, on Tuesday, flight AI 143 from Delhi to Paris was cancelled after the pre-flight checks revealed certain issues in the aircraft. The unfortunate incident has shaken the entire nation, with people rethinking about travelling by flights.
