Genelia D'Souza has discussed her lengthy workdays and juggling her personal and professional lives. Working ten hours a day is 'tough but not impossible,' she added. Her remarks follow reports that actor Deepika Padukone left Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit after the actor refused to complete an 8-hour shift, which prompted a discussion regarding artists' work-life balance.

Genelia D'Souza stated that the director of the movie thought it was 'fair' to extend the shoot to 12 hours in an interview with Zoom. "It is tough but it is not impossible. I do work for 10 hours a day and there are days when the director asks to extend it to 11 or 12 hours. I think it's fair but we just need time to make those adjustments," she said.

Even while Genelia didn't specifically address Deepika Padukone, her comments provided another perspective on the work-life demand in movies. "When you have a day or two where you have to overdo, it's also an understanding and a process that needs to be done," she added.
