Govinda, who is one of the biggest stars of the 90s and early 2000s, is set to make a comeback to films soon. The actor has been away from the silver screen for quite some time now. After his appearance in the 2019 movie Rangeela Raja, Govinda is finally set to rule the screen all over again with his upcoming film Duniyadari. The superstar shared a dance video of himself, which he called a rehearsal from his upcoming starrer. Here is what he said.

While sharing a video on Instagram, Govinda wrote, “Doing rehearsal for my forthcoming film duniyadari.” Well, the announcement has excited his fans about his upcoming starrer. A user said, Always hero no 1 all in one complete. Actor REAL SUPERSTAR.” A fan wrote, “Dance king.” A comment read, “You soooooo AMAZING. YOUR SMILE and MOVES.” Another said, “Comeback hone wala hai (with heart emoji).” A comment read, “Comeback ho rha hai (with fire emoji).

Duniyadari’s cast, release date and storyline have not been officially announced yet. Fans have to wait a little to know more about the details. On the other hand, Govinda’s claim of being approached to popular Hollywood movie Avatar with a good pay cheque has been making headlines all over again. As his wife, Sunita Ahuja, made some shocking revelations about it. In an interaction with Urfi Javed for her YouTube channel, Sunita said “Arey yaar mujhe toh nahi pata yeh kab offer hui, 40 saal toh mujhe hogaye hain Govinda ke saath. Vo Avatar ka director-producer kab aaya mujhe nahi malum. Hui bhi hai ki nahi mujhe nahi malum. Main jhooth nahi bolti naa main kisi ka side lungi. Main jhooth ka saath nahi deti (Oh man, I have no idea when the film was offered. I have been with Govinda for the last 40 years and even I don’t know when that Avatar director-producer came to offer the movie. I don’t even know if this actually happened or not. Neither do I lie, nor do I take anyone’s side. I do not support falsehood).”

Govinda has worked in movies like Naseeb, Raja Babu, Partner, Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1, Aankhen, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Bhagam Bhag to name a few.
