Bigg Boss 6 fame Sana Khan has shared the news of her mother’s demise. The actress took to her Instagram stories to inform her fans and followers about the same. As mentioned by Sana, her mother Saeeda was struggling with a bad health condition. Following this, she passed away on June 24. The funeral and burial ceremony were held on Tuesday night, after which Namaz-e-Janaza was performed. Read her statement here.

Sana Khan took to Instagram stories, “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaih Rajioon, My beloved mother, Mrs Saeeda has returned back to Allah after struggling with bad health condition. Namaz-e-Janaza will be performed at Oshiwara Qabarsthan after isha salat @9:45. Your prayers for my mother will be helpful.”

Sana had earlier shared some glimpses and pictures with her mother on Instagram. In one post, she wrote “My mom tying my shoe lace so I can go for walk 🤰🏼 There is no love more honest and selfless than a mother’s love. Had to post this coz we always forget the love n sacrifices they make for us🥹 No matter how old ur u will always be a chota bacha for them 👶 Ps: Can’t even bend down to tie my laces I was crying then n even now while I m writing this watching this video. Can’t wait to give the same love back to my child and I truly truly hope to be atleast half as her.”

Coming back to Sana Khan’s career, the former actress worked in Wajah Tum Ho, Special Ops, Jai Ho, Silambattam, Gajjala Gurram, Gaganam, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, Kalyan Ram Kathi and Aayiram Vilakku to name a few. After participating in Bigg Boss 6, Sana gained huge popularity. In 2020, Sana announced her retirement from the entertainment industry, citing religious reasons. According to ETV Bharat, she shared her desire to dedicate her life to serving humanity.
