Govinda Health Update: Bollywood actor Govinda was admitted to a Mumbai hospital after he suddenly fainted at home due to weakness and disorientation. The Hero No. 1 star reportedly began feeling unwell on Tuesday morning, and his condition worsened later in the evening, leading to an emergency hospital visit. The incident left fans deeply concerned as social media was flooded with messages wishing him a speedy recovery. The actor is now said to be stable and recuperating in a private hospital room.
According to reports, Govinda had been feeling unusually weak throughout the day on Tuesday. His close friend and lawyer, Lalit Bindal, revealed in an interview with Hindustan Times that the actor had spoken to his family doctor after experiencing brief moments of disorientation. “He felt weakness during the day and then disoriented for a few seconds in the evening. His doctor advised him some medicine over the phone, which he took around 8:30 pm,” Bindal said. However, things took a turn around midnight when Govinda again began feeling uneasy and short of breath. Concerned for his friend’s safety, Lalit rushed to the actor’s home and took him to CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital at around 12:30 am.

Why Sunita Ahuja Was Not By Govinda’s Side?
After news of Govinda’s hospitalisation spread, many fans wondered why his wife, Sunita Ahuja, was not seen accompanying him at the hospital. Clarifying the situation, Lalit Bindal explained that Sunita was out of town for a family wedding when the incident occurred. “Sunita was not in Mumbai that night; she came back late and has since joined him at the hospital,” he said. The couple’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, was also away in Chandigarh for work but is expected to return soon to be with her father.

Meanwhile, Lalit further confirmed that Govinda is now doing much better and has been shifted from the emergency ward to a private room. “His vitals are stable, and several tests have been conducted. The doctors are monitoring him closely and will decide on discharge after reviewing the test results,” he shared. The Raja Babu actor has been advised complete rest for the next few days.

On the other hand, to ease fans’ concerns, Govinda shared a short voice message on Wednesday morning, saying, “Thank you so much... I am fine.” As the veteran actor continues his recovery, well-wishers from across the film fraternity have sent messages of love and prayers for his speedy return to good health.
