Actor Govinda was hospitalised to the CritiCare Hospital in suburban Juhu after he fell unconscious on Tuesday night. According to a report in NDTV, his friend and legal advisor Lalit Bindal confirmed that he fainted late last night at home due to disorientation. "He was given medicine after consulting a doctor and was admitted to the hospital in emergency at 1 am. He has undergone several tests and is now awaiting the reports," said Bindal.

Last year, in October 2024, Govinda suffered a bullet injury in his leg. The incident happened after he misfired his licensed revolver. The actor was immediately rushed to CritiCare Hospital near his Juhu residence with a wound below his knee and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Doctors successfully removed the bullet following an hour-long surgery.

According to his manager, Govinda accidentally discharged his licensed revolver while placing it in a cupboard, resulting in the injury.
