Harry Potter Teaser: HBO Max has released a fresh teaser of its upcoming television adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, offering fans an extensive glance inside the reimagined Wizarding World. Scheduled to premiere on Christmas Day 2026, the series aims to bring J.K. Rowling’s iconic seven-book saga to life across a planned ten-year television run.

The newly released trailer opens inside the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall, where students gather as Professor Minerva McGonagall (played by Janet McTeer) walks in to announce the Sorting Ceremony. Featuring heavy visual effects and familiar magical locations, the teaser highlights several scenes and book-accurate details that were originally left out of Chris Columbus’s 2001 feature film adaptation.

Unlike the original film series, which maintained a strict perspective around Harry, the upcoming show explores broader narrative storylines, including extended sequences featuring the Weasley family.
