The Commando actor will play the role of Dhalsim, an iconic yogi known for his fire-spitting abilities and stretchy limbs, but at his core, he is a peaceful man. He fights not out of aggression, but to earn money to support his family.
Vidyut Jammwal's real-life martial arts expertise made him the perfect choice to play the part. His role will be the only Indian character in the movie. Helmed by Kitao Sakurai, the movie is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026.
