Dhurandhar: Actress Saumya Tandon, popularly known for her role in the TV show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, has been garnering praise for her performance in Aditya Dhar's directorial Dhurandhar. She portrayed the role of Akshaye Khanna’s wife in the film. The actress shared her experience of working with the actor, especially since she has always been a huge admirer of Akshaye’s work. Saumya also revealed how delighted she was to see him on the screen because she believes he’s just so underplayed.

Saumya Tandon opened about working in Dhurandhar, especially opposite Akshaye Khanna. In an interview with News18 Showsha, she said, "I’m a huge admirer of Akshaye’s work. He’s extremely magnetic when he’s on the screen. It is actually quite a treat to watch him on the screen because he’s just so underplayed. I mean, he’s such a fantastic actor. So it was actually a delight to work with him."

Praising his performance and dedication, Saumya added, "I mean, I have not really been throughout the film because I have a, you know, like I have small part which I play in it. But I have heard from everybody on the set that it was quite a gruelling shoot. And he has put in his 2000 per cent, and it’s showing. I think he deserves all the love for this."

Akshaye Khanna In Dhurandhar

Akshaye Khanna’s powerful role as Rehman Dakait stands out in the film, alongside Ranveer Singh in the lead. His entry sequences set to the Bahraini rap track FA9LA have taken over the internet. Many called it an absolute banger, while others drew direct comparison to Bobby Deol’s iconic track Jamaal Kudu from Animal.

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 4 

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh in the lead alongside Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. Released on December 5, the film has earned an impressive amount at the box office. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, Ranveer's film has collected Rs 22.00 crore on Day 4. Its total India collection stands at Rs 125.00 crore.

Dhurandhar OTT Release Update

Following its theatrical run, reports regarding its OTT release have begun surfacing online. Dhurandhar is expected to arrive on Netflix and will likely be available for streaming in early 2026, according to OTTPlay.
