‘He Worked Really Hard’: Anya Singh Dismisses Speculations That Aryan Khan Didn't Direct The Ba***ds of Bollywood

After Aryan Khan announced his directorial debut, he carried the baggage of his father Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom. Now, when his series The Ba***ds of Bollywood was released on Netflix, it has been gaining praise from the audience and Aryan’s direction was also appreciated. Anya Singh, who was part of the show, shed light on the new director’s effort and dismissed the speculation of Aryan not directing the show, but rather taking help from some other makers. She stated that he deserved all the credit. The actress revealed that Aryan deserves all the credit and appreciation. Anya asserted on Khan’s day and night hard work and mentioned that his energy is the same all day.

In an interview with The Hindustan Times, Anya Singh reacted to social media posts that claim that Aryan must have been helped by a ghost director on the show. She said, “I feel people just want an opportunity to bring another person down. That’s why I say he is so deserving of every good thing everyone is saying about him. He has worked really hard on this project. From 7 in the morning to 11 PM, his energy never dropped. You never saw him sigh. He was always smiling and so focused.”

While talking about Aryan’s choice to work with a younger crew than veteran technician. She added, “He is a young guy who stuck by his vision. It was very brave of him to do this. He knew there’d be conversations and chatter, but he did not question his vision at any point. I have a lot of respect for how he has stood by his own thoughts.”
